Celebrate President Obama’s Birthday the right way – with camaraderie and commitment -- and a contest for the best Hopey Changey themed baked goods! Need baking inspiration? Click here.
Bring in your best effort to share (and compete for a prize) or just sample the wares if you're not the baking kind. But if you want a slice of birthday cake you’ll have to earn it, by spending some time making volunteer recruitment phone calls. Help us secure Democratic victories this fall -- that's the best present you could give President Obama!
Fight for change and then share some sweet treats with friendly folks -- how could you spend a better evening? You can come in to make calls anytime from 6 until 8 p.m.; we’ll have the cake judging and consuming after that. Please bring a cell phone if at all possible, and headphones and chargers if you’ll need them.
We have regular phone banks and door-to-door work from the Democratic Party of Evanston office to advance the Obama agenda, so contact us if you’d like to help but can’t make it for the birthday party, or if you have questions about the birthday event, at info@dpoe.org or 847 491-0865.
